At École Cheam Elementary, we believe in the development of the whole child. We have a strong academic and character development focus and take great pride in the culture and traditions established here. And we are pleased to offer Early French Immersion.
Our office remains open July 2nd and 3rd, 8:00 am-3:00 pm and then we're off for summer holidays. The office will reopen on August 31st, 8:00 am-3:00 pm daily.
School is back in session for Grade One through Five students on Tuesday, September 8th. The first day is just a short check-in, 8:15-10:15 am. On Tuesday and Wednesday of the first week, students report to their classrooms from last year. Students will then be moved into temporary placements in their new grades for the remainder of the week. Further instructions will be provided prior to returning to school. Watch for an email prior to Labour Day.
Please note, our new Kindergarten students follow a Gradual Entry schedule. Kindergarteners do not come to school on September 8th. 'Welcome Visits' are scheduled for Wednesday, September 9th.
