School Goals

This fall our District unveiled a new 4-year Strategic Plan. Our staff has collaborated to develop a school plan to reflect the district goals in our context. In some areas, we are reaffirming our commitment to certain actions already in place. In other areas, we are trying out new strategies or exploring new initiatives.

Attached below, our Strategic School Plan_École Cheam (2025-2029) lays out broad goals that we will be addressing over the next 4 years. The second attachment highlights our priority areas for this year. This will be a 'living document', meant to drive our instructional practices with the ultimate goal of enhancing student learning. While the specific actions we take may change over time as we respond to the needs of our students, one guarantee is that our focus on literacy, numeracy, well-being and transitions will remain the foundation of our work here at Cheam.
